AIMS Bangladesh: Visual Storyteller
AIMS Bangladesh was established by our managing partner, Sham Tito and executive partner Kazi Roksana Ruma. With their experience in social communication and short filmmaking, the company offered a wide range of communication solutions in Bangladesh including development project documentation, Behavior Change Communication, product promotion, communication campaign planning and execution etc. The company has always focused on value addition. For any client assignment, the team discussed ways to go above and beyond and provide a communication service that is actually useful and not just meeting the specified requirements. We are not just obliged by the contract, we value every piece of communication service that we deliver. So far, about two hundred video documentaries have been produced by AIMS covering a range of social issues. The company continues to provide communication services to international organizations like the World Bank, IFC, UNFPA, UNWOMEN, UNDP, BRAC, Save the Children, ILO, IOM, ICCO Cooperation, Christian Aid, Bergen University-Norway, Lutheran Health Care Bangladesh, Edward M. Kennedy Center, and many other local clients.
In 1918, AIMS inaugurated its New York headquarters under the registered name AIMCOM, strategically expanding its service portfolio to serve both American and international markets. This pivotal initiative propelled AIMS onto the international stage, cementing its position as a global organization.
AIMS Bangladesh was subsequently established in New York to deliver the same caliber of premium communication services. The company initially launched operations with a focused scope, encompassing social event coverage, comprehensive documentation (photography/videography), social media engagement, livestreaming, and related digital services. Following the cultivation of a highly skilled team capable of executing sophisticated social and corporate communication strategies, the company is now positioned to expand into specialized domains including advocacy, Social and Behavioral Change Communication (SBCC), and integrated communication campaigns. AIMS maintains state-of-the-art technical infrastructure—including professional-grade video production equipment and advanced editing facilities—to support the full spectrum of video production, publication design, and multimedia development. The core leadership team brings over two decades of professional experience in media communication, with extensive expertise in social development initiatives providing nuanced insight into client expectations across diverse operational contexts.
